When presented with the choice of selecting food good for maximum liver function, two basic things should be considered. First, your choice should be one that promotes the detoxification process. Second, it should be rich in antioxidant contents which aid liver protection.

Help your liver get in shape

A poor functioning liver results in many negative effects. Tiredness, bad breath, skin problems, jaundice just to mention a few are makers of an ill-functioning liver. These though can be avoided when a proper diet is maintained.

Vegetables like cabbage, brussel sprouts and broccoli are strong detoxifiers as they all contain chemicals which acts as neutralizers to toxins such as nitrosamines found in cigarettes fumes or aflatoxin found in agricultural crops like maize, peanuts, tree nuts etc.

Starting your morning with a drink of water mixed with few drops of lemon juice should be made a habit. It stimulates bile production, regulates bowel movement as well as cleanses the bowel and stomach.

Onions and Garlic provide Sulphur based compounds needed by the liver. They help the liver rid themselves of body mercury as well as food additives and estrogen.

Beetroots also serve as good detoxifiers.  They contain compounds capable of absorbing heavy metals which contaminates the body.

Remember you are what you eat. Take caution and endeavor to eat healthy.

So much knowledge came to my understanding through the centuries such as yoga and pilates and other forms of body exercises.I don't want to miss any of those..!
